Barista Position

We're looking for a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys creating great customer experiences, preparing quality beverages, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso drinks, and other specialty beverages
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including caf counters and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries warmly
• Operate POS systems, handle cash, and process transactions accurately
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and drink preparation standards

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Salary: $16-$18/ HR

We are seeking candidates for full and part-time roles in a fast-paced Government Dining setting. Due to the nature of this Government setting, the following requirements are mandatory:

• Must possess a Real ID or current U.S. Passport
• Must be eligible for Security Clearance
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Must have reliable transportation (no public transportation available)

In a hospitality driven, multi dining outlet setting, you will prepare and present impressive and delicious beverages such as coffee and tea, along with paired food items such as pastries, and sandwiches with expert customer service. Additionally, you will operate beverage machinery including espresso machine, take orders, enter in POS system, maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, and manage inventory. Experience as a barista is desired.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Hospitality experience is desired and a SMILE is required!

Requirements:

• Experience in a coffee shop or setting with skilled beverage creation
• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
• Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
