We are a 2-doctor practice actively expanding to better serve our community. You only work 4 out of 5 days that we're open, and no weekends! Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a veterinarian. The Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and diseases of pets. The Veterinarian will conduct physical exams, perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform surgeries. The Veterinarian will also provide preventative care and education to clients. Appointments are booked for 30 minutes per pet, with an average of 15 appointments per day. Collaborate with other experienced full-time DVMs in a supportive environment Each doctor is assigned 2 designated assistants per shift, ensuring that you have adequate support for each patient. This is true for all shift positions: appointments, walk-ins, and surgery. We are fully equipped to provide top-notch care with an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, and laser. Designated lunch hour from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, where all operations are halted, and the hospital closes. Work/life balance. Licensure in the state of Florida or ability to obtain a license Knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine Skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and diseases of pets Experience in performing surgeries, including spay and neuter Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff members Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Multitasking Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care for pets and their owners Use of AviMark a plus Experience in exotic animal medicine and surgery a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
