TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Sacramento, California, 95816!

Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience Preferred - Charting System Experience Required Description: Supports recovery services for in-patient and out-patient procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring patients post-anesthesia and administering necessary care. Required to manage arterial lines, perform dysrhythmia recognition and management, and administer blood products. Must be proficient in IV vasopressor administration and provide care for the ventilated patient. Knowledge in conscious sedation and post-epidural management is critical. Experience with various surgical specialties, including general, orthopedic, and vascular procedures is essential. Must demonstrate knowledge of pain assessment and management, as well as post-operative care protocols. Experience in pediatric PACU and phase II recovery is highly valued. Will be expected to perform intubation and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Management of emergency situations, including cardiac arrest and CPR, is necessary. The role also encompasses collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
