- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions with collaboration from physicians or independently as your credentials allow
- Guide patients and their families toward preventive care, wellness, and effective disease management
- Prescribe medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Participate in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical skills complemented by a compassionate approach to patient interactions
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare providers

- Competency in electronic medical record systems alongside comfort in telehealth environments
