This position plays a critical role in ensuring that a pharmacy or healthcare facility complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Their duties are specialized and often administrative, with a focus on quality assurance and risk management. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact on the safety and well-being of our patients.Please note that this evening shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM; however, hours may be adjusted based on business needs, and flexibility in availability is expected to support teams and operational demands.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately dispense medication and fulfill medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensionsTrack and manage medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulationsEnsure timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providersMonitor and replenish medication supplies as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality serviceWhat We RequireHigh school diploma or GEDValid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of PharmacyMinimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillmentStrong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detailExperience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environmentPreferred RequirementCurrent Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the PTCBPrior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applicationsFamiliarity with pharmacy software systems such as Lifefile, PioneerRx, or QS/1Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environmentWhat We OfferFull benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with company match, PTO, Flex days, holidays, and more!Southend Pharmacy does not provide employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
