Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with Massachusetts licensure and 1+ years of continuous clinical experience for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department
• 13-week assignment with a 07:30-06:30 shift schedule
• Uses ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, and Eclipse systems for radiation oncology and hospital information management
• Epic used for charting

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Radiation Therapist state license required if applicable
• BLS certification preferred (AHA only)
• ARRT-T certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of continuous clinical experience in radiation therapy
• Proficiency with Radiation Oncology Information Systems and Hospital Information Systems including ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, and Eclipse
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information

Additional Information

• Operate radiation therapy equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, management, peers, and patients' families
• Exercise independent judgment and creativity in resolving patient care issues
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston accepted at a reduced rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
