What You'll Do

As a plastic extrusion operator, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with start-up, setup, and operation of plastic extrusion machinery to ensure seamless production.
• Loading raw materials into machines and adjusting controls to maintain proper feed and temperature settings.
• Monitoring machine gauges and control panels throughout the shift to detect any malfunctions or defects and taking immediate corrective action.
• Performing regular quality inspections on produced materials to ensure they meet required specifications and dimensions.
• Keeping the work environment clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisory staff to maintain operational integrity.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous experience in plastic extrusion or related manufacturing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to interpret work orders and follow technical instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
