Inventory Control Associate

Pay Rate: $22.50 an hour SUMMARY: To assist with the efficient Cash Count operations by ensuring that all policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines are complied with including securing assets. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work activities for conformance to standards and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) Safeguard company assets Assist team members with day-to-day processes Perform inventory control of supplies and equipment Complete department reports KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and Certification Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience 1-year experience in bank or casino cash services operations 6 months supervisory experience Skills Required: Accurate and detail-oriented Strong organizational skills Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XP Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Above average math skills Abilities Required: Ability to work fast and efficiently Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to serve both internal and external customers Ability to maintain a professional demeanor REQUIRED TRAINING Treasure Island guest service training Effectively Handling Harassment training Department equipment training including bill stacker exchange, currency counting, table games boxes and soft equipment Any position-related training as determined by department manager PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel routinely Must be able to repetitively push, pull, grip and grasp objects Must be able to reach and twist routinely Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Must have good eye and hand coordination Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions WORKING ENVIRONMENT Cash Services areas (including Vault), gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays Occasionally overtime may be required Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals High volume direct public contact
