Customer Service Coordinator Location: LaGrange, GA, US, 30240 Company: Milliken and Company POSITION OVERVIEW The customer service coordinator ensures effective coordination between the company and its customers with a high level of service and support. Responsibilities include processing sales orders, resolving customer order or service issues, and maintaining positive business relationships internally and externally to promote company goals. The position is located at Milliken & Company’s Maple Complex in LaGrange, GA and reports directly to the Customer Service Manager. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, part of the hybrid work-from-home policy. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Enter sales orders and make order changes, including price quotations; prepare and follow up on purchase orders; confirm shipment dates; and arrange logistics. Maintain presence in the phone queue during scheduled hours to support team coverage and ensure consistent customer service delivery. Build and maintain excellent customer relationships (both internally and externally) as a support to account management. Examine records to expedite orders through production and shipping, and interface with Supply Chain regarding order status and scheduled shipment dates. Securely process customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances, credits, or payment discrepancies. Demonstrate teamwork to achieve team, individual, and corporate goals in a fast‑paced environment and manage high‑pressure situations. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED High School diploma or GED. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to engage with various customer portal/systems and learn new systems quickly. QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED General office experience with exposure in a customer service environment. Call center experience. SAP experience. Prioritization of work and effective time management. Highly effective communication and telephone skills. Ability to apply job‑related knowledge to practical use. Adaptability to a changing environment. Customer-focused, able to build customer loyalty. Professionalism in stressful situations. Proactive willingness to take action when appropriate. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Excellent team interaction skills for working in small work groups. Initiative and self‑motivation. Problem solving and quick decision making.
