Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality maternal and neonatal care. This role involves managing labor patients, supporting postpartum and nursery care, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum patient management.
• Provide newborn care and support postpartum patient recovery.
• Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and adhere to safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements and hospital dress code.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with fetal monitoring, including NRP and AWHONN certifications.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in high-volume LDRP settings preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including every third weekend and on-call hours.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to support patients and staff.
