Job Posting: Landscape Maintenance / Installation Crew Member – Lush Scapes Fine Gardening

Location: Charleston, SC

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

We are seeking an Landscape Maintenance /Installation Crew Member who is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in an outdoor, fast-paced work environment.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate:

• 1+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or fine gardening
• Able to identify common plants and weeds
• Comfortable with routine garden care , including pruning, deadheading, mulching, weeding, and edging
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team
• Strong time management skills —able to stay productive, focused, and organized throughout the day
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various conditions
• Enjoys a changing daily routine and takes pride in creating clean, beautiful spaces

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular garden maintenance with attention to detail
• Assist with demo and planting during landscape installations
• Maintain seasonal container gardens and perennial beds
• Use tools and light equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate clearly with team leaders and clients
• Maintain a tidy and respectful presence on job sites

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check
• Dependable, on-time, and professional
• Basic irrigation knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with Charleston plant material is preferred
