Description: Please ensure your traveler is aware of the following requirements. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the emergency event passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event as impacts may vary. By signing your travel contract, you accept these conditions and will report as assigned by your unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with these requirements. Liver transplant first assist experience must be rated 3 or 4 on skills checklist. You may also scrub into other surgeries as needed. Certified Surgical First Assist or National First Surgical Assistant certifications are required along with Basic Life Support certification. Backfill for this position involves the previous candidate declining an extension. Travel experience in this specialty is required. Employee must have 2 years of specialty experience for all locations. Compliance details indicate that local travelers will not be accepted; the candidate must be over 65 miles from the facility. References will not be required for submission, but 2 manager or supervisor references will need to be obtained for clearance to start the contract. Ensure that required certifications are up to date. Candidates who worked as permanent staff must be separated from their previous role for a full year before returning as a traveler.
