Backend Developer Senior
Backend Developer Senior is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend services, ensuring high performance, security, and integration with multiple systems. This role leads technical decisions and guides the team in implementing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services
- Define technical architecture and standards
- Build and optimize APIs and services
- Design and optimize data models
- Implement data security and protection practices
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Lead code reviews and best practices
- Provide technical support to other developers
- Collaborate with frontend teams and technical stakeholders
- Participate in architectural decisions
Requirements
- Solid experience in backend development
- Proficiency in at least one backend language
- Experience designing REST APIs or similar
- Advanced knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience in designing scalable systems
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience with version control
- Ability to make technical decisions
Desirable
- Experience with cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with containers and orchestration
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Experience in high availability environments
