Compensation is influenced by relevant experience, education, specific skills, job function, geographic location, and other applicable legal factors. The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $34.61 to $36.10.

The starting pay for the Delivery Driver position is $35.13 per hour.

This position qualifies for overtime pay.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday

4 days each week.

No weekend shifts.

Start time between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. - until all deliveries are completed.

Eligible for a $10,000 retention bonus paid over the course of one year!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.

• Carefully unload items from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing them in designated storage areas at customer locations.

• Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.

• Manage collections and payments from customers when required.

• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the client experience.

• Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ lbs. of products repeatedly throughout each shift.

• Comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) is essential.

Qualifications

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required*

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Possession of a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.

• A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) OR three months of experience in food and/or beverage delivery is required.

• Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred and may be necessary in certain locations.

• Must be proficient in reading and communicating in English, capable of holding conversations, understanding traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports.
