If you're looking for a dynamic, fast paced and growing workplace to continuously learn and thrive, we want to hear from you!General Summary: Accountable for overall quality of product and that part quality meets customer specification.Responsibilities:Support production and inspectors on quality related issuesWhen required by customer, input part specific information into the MDS system and update revision when necessaryAssist with maintenance of the quality systemDevelop all aspects of PPAP documentation including control plan, PFMEA, and balloon printDevelop inspection plan as well as gage and GP12 work instructionsPart inspection including layout and in-process, using all types of mechanical inspectionPreparation of inspection reportsDevelop and order gages for all operations as established by control planPerform process capability studies for PPAP submissionsDevelop SPC charting per CPI/customer requirements and monitor data weekly from mechanical inspectionsMaintain QC project listPerform weight studies on new product and issue change router for weight changesSchedule control plan and PFMEA review meetings per timelineSupport the development of corrective and preventative actions for rejected material and customer returnsDevelop preventative action planAssist with quality system training as direct by the Quality ManagerConduct training on the use of various inspection equipmentRoot cause analysis trainingISIR trainingMinitab trainingQuality alert trainingGD&T trainingWork with other employees to resolve supplier and process related issuesBackup to quality department for Phase Product Rollout (PPR) when neededAnalyze CMM data for PPAPsAssist in CMM fixture designRequired Qualifications:Minimum of B.S. in Engineering or equivalent, with Quality as a minor or minimum 8 years of quality control experienceEffectively communicate with all levels in an organization, suppliers, and customersProficient with the use of: Micrometers, Calipers, height stands, and indicators, etc.Extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and CMM capabilityProficient with the use of Mini-tab software or other SPC software equivalentKnowledgeable with Six Sigma practices and statistical mathematicsSalary Range: $96,300 - $104,700Benefits: NSI Industries offers a competitive salary, performance-based and attendance bonuses for certain roles.
