Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in managing complex imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, and document image data while ensuring all procedures align with departmental protocols.ResponsibilitiesPerform computed tomography procedures, including contrast administration, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.Utilize advanced imaging technologies for data documentation and processing according to established protocols.Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and the use of power injectors in alignment with manufacturer and departmental guidelines.Administer various types of contrast media as directed by physician orders, assessing for potential risk factors before administration.Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, providing clear instructions and support to reduce patient anxiety.Ensure proper patient identification and adherence to universal protocols during procedures.Document patient history accurately in the electronic record and ensure exams are correctly coded and charged.Collaborate with other departments to enhance the efficiency of patient care delivery.Required Experience2 years of experience in imaging or a related field.Certifications / LicensureARRT CertificateNuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)Basic Life Support (BLS)State Licensure as required (PA/MD/NY)
