Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel contract in Wichita, KS, requiring a KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Hospital-based emergency department with a high volume of behavioral health patients
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only)
• PALS certification preferred (AHA only)
• TNCC certification preferred (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training is required prior to start; the online portion (CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course) must be completed before the start date, and the on-site portion will be completed during orientation
