Department Manager

This role is for a Department Manager at a McDonald’s corporate‑owned restaurant, responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant and ensuring a high quality customer experience. Responsibilities Lead weekly shift operations, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Oversee assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results. Guest Service Department: ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff, and maintain front counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas. Kitchen Department: ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items. People Department: hire qualified crew, conduct training, schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, and motivate crew throughout their tenure. Qualifications Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older. Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast‑paced environment.
