Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Ewing Township, NJ. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily living skills while experiencing a new community.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred. Clinical experience treating geriatric populations, post-acute care, or patients with complex medical needs preferred. Documentation and electronic medical record proficiency required. Experience with common SNF EMRs preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Familiarity with restorative nursing programs, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 08:30 - 16:30. Workweek: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts. Facility type: Skilled nursing facility.
