Group Fitness Instructors & Personal Trainers (Part-Time) In addition, we are seeking certified Personal Trainers interested in working one-on-one with clients and leading small specialty training programs. Teaching opportunities may be available at recreation facilities throughout Williamson County, including Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Leiper's Fork, College Grove, Nolensville, and Spring Hill. Responsibilities Leading safe, effective, and engaging fitness classes or personal training sessions Creating a welcoming and positive environment for participants of all fitness levels Demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills with patrons, coworkers, and management staff Providing appropriate music and class preparation for scheduled programs Maintaining required continuing education units (CEUs) and professional certifications Monitoring the condition of equipment and reporting concerns promptly Exhibiting punctuality, professionalism, and teamwork Dressing appropriately for a family-oriented recreation environment Assisting in maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere for all participants Performing additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Current nationally recognized Group Exercise Certification and/or Personal Training Certification Specialty certifications related to area(s) of instruction preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Successful completion of a background check is required.
