Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position requiring strong ortho, neuro, robotics, and ENT experience.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room 001 unit
• 13-week assignment with scheduled shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 06:30-19:00

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong experience in orthopedics, extensive neuro, robotics across multiple specialties, and ENT required
• License required if applicable
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start for all licensed professionals

Additional Information

• Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply and reduce pay rate for candidates living within the facility's local radius
