This position is responsible for providing exceptional bar service across multiple outlets on property, including the Main Clubhouse, Downstairs Turn Grill Lounge, and additional event or dining venues as needed. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, personable, and committed to delivering a high-quality member and guest experience in a private club setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelinesProvide professional, attentive, and personalized service to members and guestsMaintain bar cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in compliance with health and safety regulationsAccurately process orders through the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsiblyManage bar inventory, including stocking, rotating products, and communicating needs to managementDemonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and current beverage trendsAssist with setup and breakdown for events, banquets, tournaments, and special functionsMonitor guest alcohol consumption and follow all responsible service and TABC guidelinesCollaborate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth serviceUphold Westhaven's service standards, policies, and brand expectations at all timesQualifications & SkillsPrevious bartending experience preferred, ideally in a private club, golf course, or upscale restaurant environmentStrong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wineExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environmentProfessional appearance and demeanorMust be dependable, punctual, and flexible with schedulingAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbsValid TABC or state-required alcohol certification (or ability to obtain)Schedule & AvailabilityFlexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysShifts may vary depending on outlet needs, events, and seasonal business levelsCompany OverviewSouthern Land Company believes that community is the heart of every successful development project.
