Vice President - People

Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources on behalf of our client, a wholesale distributor of electrical, communications, and data networking products. This executive-level role provides strategic and operational leadership across all HR functions, ensuring people strategies align with business objectives. The Vice President of Human Resources will lead multiple HR centers of excellence, drive workforce initiatives, and support organizational growth through effective talent, total rewards, and people operations strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to HR centers of excellence, including People Operations, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition
  
  
• Oversee employment policies, compliance, employee relations, labor relations, and HR service delivery
  
  
• Guide enterprise-wide talent planning, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives
  
  
• Direct compensation and benefits strategy to ensure competitive, compliant, and cost-effective total rewards programs
  
  
• Oversee recruitment operations to ensure strong customer service, efficiency, and compliance
  
  
• Lead people due diligence and HR integration activities for acquisitions
  
  
• Ensure high-quality delivery of HR transactional services including benefits administration, compensation administration, and HRIS data management
  
  
• Ensure company policies and HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations
  
  
• Manage responses to employment-related regulatory inquiries and oversee EEO policies
  
  
• Direct labor relations activities including union negotiations and contract administration
  
  
• Partner with Legal to resolve employee relations matters and ethics hotline concerns
  
  
• Drive continuous improvement of people systems and platforms such as HRIS and service delivery tools
  
  
• Ensure HRIS data integrity and leverage analytics for workforce planning and executive decision-making
  
  
• Lead and develop a high-performing HR team that fosters accountability, collaboration, and service excellence
  
  

Requirements Include:
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  
  
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS in HR, or related field) preferred
  
  

Experience:

• 20+ years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a large, multi-site organization
  
  
• 10+ years of management and leadership experience
