Rather than providing medical care, you will conduct structured assessments, review medical documentation, complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), and provide medical opinions when requested and supported by examination findings and documentation. This role is focused on objective medical evaluation and documentation rather than traditional patient care. What You'll Do Conduct in-person disability examinations from your private office Review medical records and supporting documentation Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Provide medical opinions when requested and accompanied by a diagnosis, based on examination findings and documentation Submit accurate and timely documentation in accordance with VA guidelines Complete case submissions within 48 hours of the examination Compensation No minimum daily production requirements Additional compensation available for qualifying medical opinions Providers may earn up to $10,000+ per month depending on availability and completed examinations $500 training completion bonus available for providers who complete required training within two weeks and successfully submit their first 25 DBQs What to Expect You provide your monthly availability Veterans are scheduled directly to your office General Medical examinations typically range from 30 to 60 minutes per claimant Specialty examinations typically range from 15 to 45 minutes per claimant Established templates and documentation tools provided Comprehensive onboarding and training program covering: VA examiner fundamentals Disability examination processes Military culture and Veteran awareness Trauma-informed care Environmental and exposure-related conditions Specialty population considerations Dedicated support hotlines available to assist with administrative questions and case submissions Ideal for Providers Who Want a flexible supplemental income opportunity Prefer assessment and documentation work over traditional patient care Are seeking a predictable, low-risk clinical environment Enjoy independent work with structured guidelines Want to support Veterans in their local community Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (NP, PA, MD, or DO) License free of sanctions Minimum one year of clinical experience Current BLS certification Registered business entity with a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) Malpractice insurance Workers' compensation insurance Business insurance ADA-compliant private office Office located within approximately 50 to 100 miles of one of the target locations Who We’re Seeking Specialty Providers Providers with offices located near Medford, Bend, or Eugene to support growing Veteran demand in these communities Current High-Demand Oregon Locations At this time, we are actively recruiting providers with offices located near: Medford, OR Providers located within a 50 to 100-mile radius of these communities are encouraged to apply.
