Key Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour day shifts) Employment Type: Travel Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2,268 Contract Completion Bonus: $500 Responsibilities Work 12‑hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) Weekend rotation every other weekend No on‑call responsibilities 1 holiday worked per contract Schedule made in 6‑week increments Patient ratios 1:1–3; team nursing model used when more than 2 patients Float first; may float within hospital scope of practice with 1:4 ratio on Med‑Surg/Tele units or ED boarding Care for a variety of patients: general/medical (sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, respiratory failure, kidney failure, liver failure, GI bleeds, DKA), cardiac (CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, post‑catheter), trauma (GSW, stabbings, falls), surgical (GYN, GI, GU), neuro (SDH, TBI, CVA, TIA, syncope) Required skills: vent/trach management, tube/drain management, chest tubes, invasive line management (arterial line, CVP), cardiac rhythm interpretation, surgical recovery, medication titration (sedation, pressors, cardiac, pain, paralytics) Preferred skills: abdominal pressure monitoring, EVDs, CVVH, IABP EPIC EMR experience required; IV pumps (Alaris) and medication dispensing via Pyxis Qualifications Minimum 2 years ICU experience First‑time travelers accepted BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; TNCC preferred Wisconsin nursing license required Scrub color: any solid color, professional; no graphics or logos Free parking available in designated employee areas Benefits Weekly pay via direct deposit 401(k) with 100% matching Monthly reimbursement for health insurance Non-tax stipends for lodging, meals, incidentals 24/7 on‑call support Medical, dental, vision benefits Referral bonus Location Oconomowoc, WI.
