Dental Hygienist

Permanent position for a part-time or full-time RDH – Registered Dental Hygienist in Livermore, CA general office. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-3. Looking for someone to take 2-5 days per week. For full-time employees, they offer medical and 401k. We are a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
• Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
• Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
• Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients

Qualifications:

• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
