We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Merchandiser to maintain the appearance, health, and organization of plants and related merchandise in a retail greenhouse environment. This role focuses on plant care, product presentation, and supporting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and merchandise live plants and greenhouse products according to company standards

• Water, prune, deadhead, and monitor plant health daily

• Rotate inventory and remove unsellable or damaged product

• Follow planograms and seasonal layouts to ensure attractive displays

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of greenhouse and sales areas

• Assist with signage, pricing, and promotional setups

• Provide basic plant care guidance to customers when needed

• Work safely while lifting, moving carts, and handling equipment

• Communicate inventory or quality concerns to supervisors

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a greenhouse environment (heat, humidity, outdoor conditions)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Dependable with ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Previous retail, merchandising, or plant care experience preferred but not required

• Flexible availability, including weekends and peak seasonal hours

Skills & Competencies

• Basic plant knowledge or willingness to learn

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Good visual merchandising skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, seasonal environment

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
