Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: PM (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team, specializing in cardiac care. This role involves working with a patient population that includes cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization lab patients, and cardioversions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a 4:1 patient ratio in a telemetry environment.

Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the cardiac specialty. Monitor patient conditions and update care plans as needed. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' heart activity. Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in step-down or ICU settings Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
