Position Highlights:

• Immediate patient volume with established, growing practice
\n
• State-of-the-art cancer center; COC-accredited; ASCO-certified; QOPI-Certified
\n
• Strong collaboration with Siteman Cancer Center for referrals and support
\n
• Experienced, collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners
\n
• On-site infusion pharmacy; oral oncology pharmacist; PET/CT; Paxman scalp cooling; grant-funded nutrition station; 18 chair infusion center
\n
• Hospital-connected clinic adjacent to general surgery, urology, radiation oncology, and more 
\n
• On-site support staff include dedicated nurse navigators, dietitian, social worker, financial navigator, triage nurse, RN coordinator, and LPN or MA
\n
• 50/50 hematology and oncology case mix
\n
• 3:1 call
\n
• Epic EMR and Dax CoPilot
\n

Core Responsibilities:

\n
• Diagnose blood disorders and cancers
\n
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
\n
• Manage side effects and complications
\n
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with other specialists
\n
• Educate and support patients
\n
• Deliver an exceptional level of attention and care to all patients
\n

Qualifications and Experience:

\n
• Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Hematology/Oncology
\n
• Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers
\n

• This is a full-time position located within the Delbert Day Cancer Institute at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri.
\n
