Inside Sales Engineer

We are recruiting an Inside Sales Engineer for a growing advanced manufacturing company serving technical industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, and polymers. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career engineer or technical professional who enjoys working with customers and wants to develop a career in technical sales and Business Development. What We Are Looking For 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, application engineering, technical sales, project engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role Engineering degree or comparable technical background strongly preferred Manufacturing experience, ideally involving aerospace, chemicals, polymers, materials, or another technical product Ability to understand technical applications and communicate confidently with customers and internal engineering teams Strong organization, follow-through, and comfort managing multiple leads, quotations, and longer-term opportunities Willingness to ask good questions, challenge assumptions, and respectfully push back when necessary Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred Interest in growing into a Business Development position What You Will Do Qualify inbound leads and customer opportunities Gather technical and application requirements Coordinate with engineering, quoting, operations, and customer service Prepare and follow up on quotations Manage opportunities and customer activity in Salesforce Educate customers, identify the right technical solution, and keep projects moving Compensation and Growth $85,000-$105,000 Bonus and additional sales incentive potential Career path toward Business Development based on performance, readiness, and company needs This is an onsite position near Colorado Springs area with limited initial travel.
