Medical Office Assistant

Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Welcome patients, verify their identification and insurance information, and prepare required forms for their visits.

Scheduling: Coordinate appointments in person or by phone, process walk-ins, and manage rescheduling or cancellations.

Communication: Answer high-volume phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages between patients and clinical staff.

Billing & Insurance: Verify coverage eligibility before appointments, explain billing policies, and collect co-payments and outstanding balances.

Record Management: Maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR), update patient demographics, and scan documents while strictly adhering to HIPAA privacy laws.

Office Maintenance: Monitor reception inventory, order supplies, and ensure the waiting area remains tidy and calm.

Would get Tuesdays/Wednesday off working the rest 5 days a week 8 hour shifts

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
