The Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment and management of complex oncologic conditions. Guided by UHS values of Trust, Compassion, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation, the Oncology RN supports patients and families through all phases of the cancer journey, including treatment, symptom management, and supportive care. Sign-On Incentive Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000. Education / Experience Minimum Required: A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting. License / Certification Minimum Required: Current NYS RN License. Preferred: Professional certification in a related nursing specialty. Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned. Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas requiring proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies. Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
