Housekeeping PositionHousekeeping provides friendly, courteous Family-Style Service to guests while cleaning guest rooms in their assigned area. They display a strong commitment to customer service through the delivery of our service standards, safety procedures and standard operating procedures. Housekeeping ensures cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms to uphold hotel standards. Duties include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing supplies, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to providing excellent guest experience are key aspects of this role.How You Will Create the ExtraordinaryCleans all assigned rooms to company standard within designated work periodMaintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shiftFollows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediatelyFollows lost and found policies and proceduresPlans, organizes and completes work timelyTakes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist guests with their needsAccepts feedback and coaching from supervisorsResponsible for the efficient and effective cleaning of all areas with higher standards of knowledge.Responsible for cleaning all restrooms, floors, windows, walls, stairs, escalators, and elevatorsCleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restrooms and closets. Mopping and vacuuming floors around the casino, all restrooms and entrances.Routine manual labor includes but not limited to washing, mopping, sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning walls, food service equipment and simple operation of basic equipment.Responsible for removing all trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans.Trash and debris to be deposited in the outside dumpsters.Attend to guest as needed for any housekeeping needs.Ensure the safety and security of guests and employeesAll other duties as assigned.What You Will NeedMust be 21 years of age or olderProficient in English verbal and writtenProficient with iOS devicesFlexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidaysPrior professional cleaning experience preferredADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to push and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 30 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitivelySafely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipmentAscend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended periodMust be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periodAbility to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environmentMust be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
