The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both patients and providers. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient workups and ophthalmic testing Accurately document examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans Assist ophthalmologists during examinations, procedures, and in-office laser treatments Obtain and document patient medical histories Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment recommendations Ensure patients understand physician instructions and follow-up care Maintain efficient patient flow and communicate appointment status Administer ophthalmic medications as directed Sterilize instruments and maintain ophthalmic equipment Triage patient phone calls according to clinical protocols Assist patients with contact lens insertion and removal Clinical Skills & Equipment Experience Preferred Experience with the following is highly desirable: Auto Refractor Retinoscope Phoropter Slit Lamp Pentacam / Corneal Topography Wavescan IOL Master Zeiss OCT Heidelberg OCT Humphrey Visual Field Testing Pachymetry Tonometry Color Vision Testing Extraocular Muscle Function Testing Hirschberg Testing Van Herick Measurements Worth 4-Dot Testing Stereopsis Testing Requirements What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent required Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinical setting Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
