About the Position

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call requirements of 7 days per month including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Weekend hours consist of on-call only
• No float requirements
• 13-bed operating room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Patient population consists primarily of adults with minimal pediatric outpatient cases
• Minimum 1-2 years of surgical tech experience with multiple specialties required
• Orthopedic or neurology experience preferred
• Required certifications: Surgical Tech diploma or certification
• Equipment includes Robotics (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided via on-site scrub machine - outside attire not laundered by the hospital is not acceptable

This facility is a Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 355 beds, home to specialized centers including a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, and Orthopedics department. The facility also features General and Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, a Women's Center, and a Level 3 NICU. Additional services include a 32-bed emergency department, 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging, and an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital on a separate campus.
