Job Title: Construction Laborer Job Description

We are seeking Service Technicians to join our team, providing mobile storage units and office spaces for construction companies in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in refurbishing homes, building homes, and skills in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. This role involves using these skills to ensure mobile units and offices are repaired, cleaned, and ready for shipment.

• Meet with the team and be assigned tasks for the day.
• Perform majority of work on mobile units and yard projects, gaining hands-on experience.
• Clean, sweep, and hose out dirtiness left prior to units being returned.
• Replace tiles and epoxy flooring, ensuring floors are clean and ready.
• Repair drywall holes, patch and paint after holes are patched.
• Replace lightbulbs, locks, blinds, and door handles.
• Document work completed and verify any additional work needed.

• Experience in construction trades and use of power tools.
• Proficiency in carpentry, framing, drywall, remodeling, and sheetrock repair.
• Knowledge of finish carpentry, service work, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and refurbish electrical components.
• At least one year of construction or laborer experience.
• Experience with safety protocols.

• Experience in home remodels, refurbishing, new construction, and service work.
• Eagerness to learn and take on-the-job training with power tools.
• Experience with cleaning supplies, paint materials, drywall putty, and power tools.

Service Technicians will work primarily in the yard, on mobile units. The role is labor-intensive, with technicians sometimes working in teams and sometimes independently. Technicians do not visit client sites. During hot weather, extended breaks and abundant water are provided to ensure comfort and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Martin, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
