This position supports existing and next-generation military communications software while working close to hardware, drivers, boot code, RTOS, interfaces, and platform integration. An engineer in this position is responsible for creating designs, adding features to current designs, and developing operating system configurations.Essential FunctionsConfiguring and patching U-boot and Linux for an embedded systemConfiguring the root file system for an embedded systemConfiguring Linux device treesLinux boot process on an embedded systemBASH scriptingQualificationsBachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
