Civil Engineer (EIT or PE) – Water/Wastewater – Austin, TX We are seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT or PE) specializing in water/wastewater design to join a rapidly growing firm in Austin, TX. This role offers the chance to work on municipal water/wastewater projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems, with opportunities for career advancement and leadership development. Key Responsibilities For EIT: Assist in designing water/wastewater systems, including plans, specs, and reports. Support project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers. Collaborate with teams on treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems. For PE: Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and progress updates. Oversee construction administration (submittals, contracts, bidding). Supervise EITs, drafters, subcontractors, and inspectors. Ensure compliance with municipal standards and regulations. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s). Licensure: EIT required for junior roles, PE required for senior roles. Experience: EIT: 1+ years in municipal water/wastewater design (drainage experience a plus). PE: 5+ years in water/wastewater design, including project management/construction administration. Experience with drainage design, permitting, or Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) in Texas. Project management or municipal client coordination experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, ArcGIS, or similar hydraulic modeling software.
