Responsibilities include performing routine tasks relating to the preparation and management of a variety of budget and accounting records and reports pertaining to revenue, expenditures, attendance, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting. The position also involves gathering, assembling, tabulating, checking, and filing budget and financial data, preparing input to the computer, and utilizing computer-prepared output reports in verifying data. The technician may also receive money and prepare deposits, assist in preparation of budget reports or financial records, and provide information to staff and public.Salary: $20.53 - $33.36 per hour.Minimum application requirements include an online application and any required documents listed below, submitted by 8:00 p.m. on October 28, 2026. Typing certificate 35 net wpm (valid certificate within three years of the deadline of this bulletin). Certificates must include the following information: agency name, proof of authenticity, date of test, net words per minute (5-minute timed test), signature of instructor or test administrator. Copies of required certificates, transcripts, or diplomas may be submitted with application. District may require that originals be presented for verification prior to employment. Positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
