We hold true to our core values to: Make It Happen, Do The Right Thing, Work Hard, Smart and Safe, We Care, Be The Best, and Own It.Family Owned- 20 years in business operating in Texas & LouisianaManages parts operations within BLE to maximize return on investment through optimizing Parts Department processes, growing profitable parts sales, exercising disciplined expense control, attracting and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging departmentDuties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for expediting and purchase order follow up.Resolves billing and shipping problems and provide information to suppliers.Responsible for the procurement of materials, components, supplies & equipment at favorable cost consistent with schedule and specifications.Liaise with various department managers to anticipate demand for goods and materials.Responsible for overseeing annual physical inventories of all parts and related equipment.Assess critical inventory lists, establish optimal inventory levels, and integrate anticipated demands by replenishing inventory in a timely manner.Negotiate terms for major purchases within established limits of authority.Manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure the organization receives superior standards of service.Evaluate supplier bids, quotes, tenders, and proposals of all equipment, parts, and tools for assigned BLE location.Respond to escalated inquiries; review and authorize purchasing recommendation of others.Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.Perform other duties as requested.Supervisor ResponsibilitiesDoes this position supervise others?
