Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician certification (e.g., CPhT or state licensure preferred)
  
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  
• Ability to work evening shifts and every other weekend
  
• Completion of onboarding health and background requirements, including: drug screen; immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, COVID-19); physical/health statement; and criminal background check
  
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication skills for clinical support
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications for inpatient and outpatient areas
  
• Maintain accurate medication records, documentation, and pharmacy inventory management
  
• Support medication distribution throughout the hospital, including floor deliveries and automated dispensing systems
  
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and quality assurance standards
  
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  
• Participate in pharmacy safety initiatives, medication reconciliation support, and continuous improvement activities
