We are seeking a dedicated Organic Chemist to join the Encoded Technologies team onsite, playing a key role in advancing on-DNA binder confirmation platforms and driving breakthrough DNA-compatible reaction optimizations.

responsibilities:

• Synthesize on-DNA compounds for on-DNA binder confirmation (ODBC) projects within set timelines.
• Develop and optimize new DNA-compatible reactions for production in DNA-encoded libraries.
• Analyze complex experimental data to enable data-driven decision-making across projects.
• Communicate key scientific findings clearly to multidisciplinary research teams.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, detailed record-keeping, and quality results.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• Doctoral degree (PhD) in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or Biochemistry.
• Hands-on, lab-based chemistry research experience.

Preferred:

• Direct experience with on-DNA chemistry techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a collaborative setting.
