What You'll Do
  • Deliver patient care based on nursing assessments and the nursing process
  • Adapt care to meet the needs of diverse ICU patient populations
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate resources within the nursing team
  • Utilize clinical data to evaluate and improve patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and facility policies
  • Provide patient education tailored to individual needs
What You Need
Required:

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
  • Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
  • NIH certification
