Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding Director of Nursing career in Bristol ? We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing to help us deliver outstanding care to our residents. 

Your Role as a Director of Nursing :  

At Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Nursing , our Director of Nursing provides essential care to our residents by: 

• Assisting the administrator in the implementation and attainment of nursing department goals and objectives. 

• Responsible for the supervision and administration of the total nursing service program. 

• Directing the operation and staff by delivery of nursing care and service while adhering to all federal, state and local regulatory requirements. 

• Coordinate programs and services under the direction and consultation of the administrator and medical director.

What You Need:  

• Valid Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Rhode Island or compact state

• At least 7 years of experience in nursing service administration and supervision as well as at least 5 years’ experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.

• Knowledge and demonstrated capacity for leadership skills in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing care programs which are coordinated with the total health care of residents.

• Knowledge of clinical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care.

• Ability to develop and manage staff in an environment which enhances the highest standards of nursing care.
