Currently seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager who will be responsible for acquiring and retaining profitable property, casualty, and workers compensation accounts through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy, overseeing a team of underwriters and associate underwriters who promote sales of various P&C products through the independent agency system.This position will be hybrid in our Glen Allen, VA office or opportunity for remote within our territory. Experience Required * Minimum six years commercial, multi-line, P&C marketing and underwriting experience and two years prior supervisory or team leadership experience

• Relevant experience in managing and developing the skills of staff
• Excellent knowledge of the independent agency system
• Hands-on underwriting technical experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
