The pest control industry is recession resilient. Responsibilities As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a high‑performance culture and motivate your team to deliver top‑notch service to every customer. You’ll blend industry knowledge with interpersonal skills to earn customer trust through empathic, competent service. Your role includes: Lead an entire service operation after completion of paid training Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety Act with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers Assist with recruiting top talent for the service team Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands‑on management Lead training meetings Manage our Orkin Pro Ride‑A‑Long program Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed courses of action, and outstanding empathetic customer service Champion innovation by supporting adoption of new products, services and technology Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity Benefits The benefits package includes competitive earnings, a company vehicle with a gas card, and an average first‑year earning between $60,000 and $65,000. Requirements include: Safely using a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
