Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Finance Technology Function Support to lead a team supporting and optimizing Oracle Finance applications.

This is a hands-on management role for someone with strong Oracle Fusion Finance, ERP, production support, and team leadership experience. The manager will oversee daily application support while also working on system improvements, upgrades, testing, and Finance technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Finance Technology application support team.
• Provide hands-on support for Oracle Finance applications and resolve complex issues.
• Oversee production support, troubleshooting, incident management, and escalations.
• Support Oracle Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Projects, and Cost Accounting.
• Manage system enhancements, upgrades, testing, releases, and projects.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Data, Integration, and other business teams.
• Manage third-party vendors and managed service providers.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization.
• Support Finance transformation initiatives and Oracle Fusion optimization.
• Ensure stable and reliable Finance application operations.
• Serve as a key technology partner to Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance applications, ERP systems, Oracle applications, or related application support.
• Hands-on Oracle Finance experience required.
• Oracle Fusion Finance experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Oracle EBS Financials experience may also be considered.
• Experience with Oracle financial modules, particularly:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Fixed Assets
• Projects
• Cost Accounting
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cash Management
• Previous experience managing Finance Technology or application support teams.
• Strong production support experience, including troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with system enhancements, implementations, testing, and releases.
• Experience working with third-party vendors or managed service providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a hands-on manager and personally handle complex technical issues when needed.
