Mental Health RN PRN

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Mental Health RN PRN. This role will coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in the Mental Health department. Job Summary & Qualifications The Registered Nurse aligns care with state and specialty standards, collaborates with medical providers, and advocates for patients, families and caregivers. The RN models the organization’s vision to support excellent patient experience and clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Assesses patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and documents care accurately. Responds promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs and resolving them proactively. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate and deliver a holistic treatment plan that promotes recovery. Serves as an interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to continue ongoing care needs. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification obtained within 90 days of start date. No Travel Required.
