Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (CCL RN) Walla Walla, WA. This role supports a short term acute care setting by assisting with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, including procedural sedation and circulator responsibilities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift; 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. On-call shifts are required every 23 weekends and 23 nights per week, and weekend coverage is required.
• Required Qualifications: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); valid Washington (WA) or compact RN license (required at time of submission); related clinical competency in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, adult diagnostic catheterizations, adult interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and monitoring of procedural sedation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Epic (charting system).
• Additional Information: The interventional cath lab performs cardiac cath and interventional radiology procedures. Staffing model includes 12 RNs per procedure. Expected patient age group is adults, and inpatient support includes respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Specialty cases may include AAA, PCI, extremity procedures, PE lysis, and pacemaker support. Special equipment may include Impella, IABP, atherectomy, thrombectomy, Acist, and EKOS. Orientation hours are 40. Tier 3 travel compliance documentation is due Monday prior to start, and last four of SSN/RTO must be listed at time of submittal (post-submission RTO will not be approved). All requested scheduling needs must be submitted up-front. Modules are non-billable (average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires approval), completed pre-start and annually, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts.
