Work Environment\nThis role is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexible working arrangements while maintaining a strong connection with clients through our outpatient office framework. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough crisis assessments and interventions for individuals experiencing sudden mental health emergencies. \n
- Provide immediate counseling services to clients in need, employing innovative therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery. \n
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response personnel to ensure the safety and well-being of clients during crises. \n
- Offer ongoing follow-up care and recommendations to clients, supporting them on their journey to stability. \n
- Utilize effective crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques to resolve complex situations positively. \n
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills in crisis counseling. \n
In this position, you will work primarily with individuals facing addiction issues and mental health crises, including those dealing with trauma, emotional distress, and suicidal ideations. Your empathetic approach and ability to develop therapeutic relationships will empower clients to confront their challenges head-on and work towards recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification. \n
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling. \n
- Demonstrated specialization or additional training in trauma-informed care and crisis counseling. \n
- Proficiency with evidence-based crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients in distress. \n
- Cultural sensitivity and a compassionate disposition to support a diverse clientele. \n
- Capability to conduct rapid assessments and formulate personalized crisis intervention plans. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of ethical and legal standards governing crisis counseling practices. \n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 95,000 annually, with potential adjustments based on experience and contributions to the organization. Additionally, a generous sign-on bonus is included for qualified candidates.
